Safari in Kenya - Discover the Magic
The two words ie “Expedition” or “journey to Africa” are two words that derive their meaning from the word safari which comes from a Swahili origin. The writer of the book “The snows of Kilimanjaro” ie Ernest Hemingway was inspired by the same mystery, adventure and romance inscribed in the very name of the word Safari.
Africa is a land of magic which calls the past, the present and the future enabling you to experience it too. The land is so mysterious that it touches the heart and allows you to acquire new perspective of the normal cycle of life.
Kenya is a nation that has beautiful coastlines and good tropical beaches which are tempting and its a few number that can match the huge scale and drama offered to those who visit this country. We also have other African nations that offer equally amazing expeditions to see their exotic wildlife in their natural dwelling places.
A safari in Kenya gives you the opportunity to discover the nice scenic views and its prolific wildlife which are prime attraction of Kenya. The wildestbeest migration is considered one of the 7 new wonders of the world and because of its remarkable attractions it makes Kenya one of the best wildlife destinations in the world. During this period, Kenya becomes home to hundreds of wildestbeest and zebras which migrate from the Serengeti in Tanzania to Masaai Mara in Kenya.
The best time to view wildlife in the Mara and in particular the wilderbeest is during the migration period. You get to experience the opportunity of a lifetime as you see the millions of wildestbeests moving from one end of the horizon to the other making it look like a grey river of life.
Taking a safari to Kenya is like going back in time where you get to experience a cultural mosaic which is as old as time itself. The safari experience allows visitors to move into thorn enclosed villages that belong to the Masaai, take a walk with the Samburu warriors or go fishing with the Luo, renowned for their fishing prowress or meet the Swahili sailors at the coast. The safari will give you the opportunity to experience a living and breathing history and see different cultures.
